Australian Maid

ABOUT ‘Australian Maid

Australian Maid is a Cassidy 55ft that has done it all in her time. She is a veteran of Sydney Hobart races, Cowes race week, and Antigua race week. She has won may Asian regatta’s including Kings Cup, Raja Muda, and the Rolex China Sea race amongst many others.

Australian Maid was bought by her new owners in 2015 and they have refurbished her to her former glory. A huge sail inventory including a brand new carbon main sail along with a lot of attention to the hull and rig has brought Australian Maid back up to her true performance levels. With a very favourable age handicap giving her an IRC of only 1.169 means this beautiful yacht can seriously be in contention for honours at a fraction of the cost of other yachts in her class.

Australian Maid is available for all Asian regatta’s including Kings Cup, Cape Panwa Phuket Race Week, Raja Muda, Langkawi and Neptune Regatta. Arrangements can also be made for her to race in the East Asian regatta’s on request.
